Owner/Trainer Horses

All of the horses on this page are owned or trained by individuals whom I have known throughout my professional career to take great care in the conditioning and handling their horses.  In addition, these horses have had a cursory health check.  This is not a pre-purchase exam and is not represented as such, but it is intended to help us more accurately represent these horses.  These horses can still be located at the racetrack or on farm and this will be duly noted.

If you have questions about any of these horses please call or email me at:

"Mint Slewlep", I love that name!

"Slew" is a 6 year old Thoroughbred horse - meaning he is not a gelding.

He is exceptionally flashy with a very nice temperament.  Those who work with Slewpy on a daily basis describe him as a class act, no problems with studdish antics. He has no vices and is a nice ride too!

"Kissy"

Click here to see her pedigree.

Peanut Butter Kiss is a three year old Thoroughbred filly.

Her trainer/owner has had her since she was a yearling, broke her, and raced her four times. She did crack her shin in her first start as a 2 y/o but then we did shockwave and ran her three times since then (in fairly quick succession). She is 100% sound. She's raced on the dirt, and the last start was on the turf. She showed no desire to be a racehorse.  So... she gets to move on to a new career.

She is a beautiful floaty mover, and Katie had a professional dressage trainer pick her out as a yearling from the field and say she would make a great upper level prospect.
She stands 16.1 or so, and is more than likely not done growing yet. Her name is She is a candy addict. If she hears the crinkle of a wrapper she is all ears.

Being that Katie broke her, she should not be hard to retrain, since she trains most of my youngsters as you would a young dressage horse. However, she is a lot of horse. She would be most suitable for an experienced rider looking for an upper level event/dressage/jumper. She is very athletic, and very capable of what will be needed for the upper levels. She will need a lot of focus and patience though. Her sire is Fantasticat, which makes her a Storm Cat filly- you know their temperaments I'm sure.

Kissy is located in Damascus, Maryland and is offered for sale at $1,200.  For more information, please contact me.

"Dancer"

Beautiful Girl!

She is a 6yr old mare who stands 15.3 hands.  She has a very wide, substantial build and takes up a lot of leg when you ride her. She is a absolute sweet heart! She can be handled by any one and is very easy to ride.

Her owner/trainer has had her since she was a yearling and cannot say enough good things about this mare. She her absolute favorite.

Dancer has no vices and is sound but does need a little down time. She is not only a sweet heart, but she is well bred too!! She is by Jazz Club out of McMoment by Timeless Moment and is a half sister to a stakes horse. She made about $75,000.00 her self also.

Dancer is located in Bowie, Maryland at Bowie Training Center and is offered for sale at $2,500.  For more information, please contact me.

"Beau"

Beau is a true gentleman and will make a fabulous hunter/eventer or dressage prospect.

His good foundation makes him suitable for any riding level in the show ring or just fun on a trail.

Beau is a 5yr old unraced 16.3 hand Thoroughbred gelding with no vices or soundness issues.

Beau has started over fences both in the ring and on an outside course. He has been schooled in a variety of places both indoors and outdoors and handles every situation like a professional. Beau has also had two private dressage lessons.

Beau has shown successfully in two hunter schooling shows at Howard County Fairgrounds and Woodland Horse Center. He competed against 9 others in pleasure, trail, equitation and command and placed first in most of the classes.
